Erica Andrews was an entertainer from San Antonio, Texas and had performed all over the country.  She was the drag daughter of the Tandi Andrews and was very active in the pageant world having won several titles throug out her career.

In 2008, Erica was featured in the documentary ‘Trantasia’  which was first broadcast on the cable channel Showtime which followed contestants of the transexual beauty contest called “The World’s Most Beautiful Transsexual”.   In 2010, the movie “Ticked-off Trannies with Knives” releases which stars Erica which is described as a John Waters inspired comedy-tragedy about a group of girls who meet some guys that bash them which cause the girls to get revenge.   Erica has also been featured on the tv talk show “The Tyra Banks Show”.

Known for many fabulous shows and routines, Erica kept the audience guessing at what was next.   One of her well known performances includes her Mommie Dearest and Shirley Bassey mix to “I (Who Have Nothing)” which was the winning talent number for the 2006 National Entertainer of the Year pageant.  Erica has also performed to such characters as Jessica Rabbit and Mary Katherine Gallagher from the movie “Superstar”.

She will truly be missed by the entertainment community.  Our heart goes out all of Erica’s friends and family as we the mourn the loss of someone truly great.

  1. I was honored to have Erica in a play I directed called The Vampire Lesbians Of Sodom by Charles Busch at The Woodlawn Theatre in San Antonio, Tex in 2004. She was fabulous. Always enjoyed seeing her perform at The Heat Night Club.

  2. met her over 12 years ago. Even though she is a goddess she is still a humble person. Yes she is about business when working/competing, but on a personal level she is down to earth. VERY smart lady, Miss Erica Andrews. She has won every major pageant that is out there worth winning. Her make up skills are out of this world. Miss thang really knows makeup. In and out, front to back this girl can PAINT! She is bilingual, speaking english and spanish. Her style is fabulous. She is very proud of her hispanic heritage/background but has a way of doing things that make her stand out and above others similar to her race. If she ever reads this or someone tells her about it, I once asked her for her straw. Not a psycho just wanted her to remember me. Also one year at a pageant here in Houston Texas Inergy, she was sitting above me and i remember massaging her calves as i stood below her. Funny but true. Im sure she enjoyed it. When was the last time someone massaged your calves? Miss Andrews is the epitomy of female impersonation. There is nothing this girl can not do! She has the looks, beauty, brains, talent, and manners. miss erica knows what she wants and how to get it, when others scheme, swindle, and cheat there way through life, erica has taken the road less traveled and worked for everything she has accomplished/recieved in life. Many draq queens, and transexuals could take note from someone like her! She is a living legend, and one of the best in the artform of female impersonation. If your looking to hire/book an entertainer for an event/gig/pageant/party Erica Andrews is one of those kind of entertainers that you get what you pay for! Keep the artform Alive Miss Andrews and thank you for your contribution to the artform of female impersonation! michael de los Santos, Houston Texas

  3. Erica was a Mother, a friend, and above all an inspiration to me not just as a drag performer or as a transsexual woman. Just as a good human being in general. Always kind.. and always fabulous.. i love her so much and will miss her dearly.

  4. I remember the first time I saw her….she was a guest performer at SOUTHERN NIGHTS in ORLANDO FL……when I first moved there…..I thought….what a beautiful WOMAN…… SHE WAS GORGEOUS !!!
